Today, the participants of the JCN project took part in study trips – this is the second part of the training, which follows the on-site workshops at the College of Europe in Natolin.
One of the groups ended up going to Berlin, where they spent most of the day at meetings with the staff of the Axel Springer publishing house. There, they discussed a wide range of topics. What started with an introduction into Axel Springer’s goals and operations soon turned into deep conversations about media ethics, verification, open source investigations, and the topics that journalists should prioritise in their research!
